Well I’m spending a year in Europe next year and I started saving in November 08 to leave Feb 2010. But I’m 18 and live at home so I don’t have to pay rent or food, and I don’t have a car, so no petrol or insurance or anything.

I book it a year in advance and spend that year paying it off!
