We are taking a long family vacation to Istanbul, Turkey and I am trying to find out if I can purchase my son’s baby formula in Istanbul. With the limited baggage allowances, I would like to pack as little as possible and purchase necessities while there. Thanks!

Unfortunately you cannot find that brand in Turkey. I know a family in Turkey whose son used this brand in NA and when they went back to Turkey they couldn’t find it there so I had to ship over time to time when they need supplies. This brand is widely used in the States and also for until 9 months old babies in Canada for some of the formulas of this brand. You can take a few tins in your suitcase if your baby is used to having it. 454 grams of 8 tins can easily hold half of a medium size suitcase.
When you get to Turkey you could try Similac, which can be found in any pharmacy anywhere in Istanbul or try Milupa Aptamil where you can purchase them in any store.
Do you know if Enfamil is a genetically modified baby food? I’ve done quite a bit research on that and I still do not know the answer. Thanks.
