By train you can travel from Hasselt, Tongeren, Overpelt/Neerpelt, Maaeik but you have to switch in Brussels on the train direction Charleroi Sud.
From some smaller stations you can travel to one of these above by local train.
If you are close to Liege (South of Limburg) you can take a direct train to Charerloi-Sud.
