I’m from Boston, which has a plethora of world-class, universities, a diverse and well-educated population, tons of history and culture, and fine cuisine from all over the world. I think I might have made the mistake of my life by moving to Phoenix.
Boston has Harvard, MIT, Boston College, Boston University, Wellesley and Northeastern among many others. Phoenix has [snicker] Arizona State University and Gila Bend Community College.
Boston has cuisine from all over the world; Italian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Moroccan, Peruvian, Turkish, French, Korean, Brazilian, Salvadoran, Indian, Russian, Greek, not to mention wonderful seafood.
Phoenix has….Mexican, Mexican and Mexican.

It’s obvious that Boston has more international diversity than Phoenix. Also, from the colleges and universities you named the people seem better schooled. My only question is can they apply their life experiences and intelligence to real life situations.
Was it not Logan Airport in Boston where Mohamed Atta started the dominos falling on 9/11 2001? Yep, some real smart and culturally diverse people pop out of that hole. Thanks for flaunting the intelligence of Bostonians.
May I suggest that you go back to Boston to get some learning because you have obviously missed all the diversity in Arizona.
Well go back to Boston then!
Arizona doesn’t need you and we won’t miss you. If you’ve missed the entire point of what makes Arizona special, you don’t deserve to be here.
Don’t let the cactus needles impel you on your way out. :/
I’m sorry you missed the complete point…maybe you’re just not meant for travel. But whatever, have fun drinking tea and discussing books back at your social clubs in B-us Arizonan’s like it here just fine.
I think you are being unfair. I am from Chicago, which also has world-class universities, a symphony, opera, ballet, museums, etc. and I am totally comfortable in Phoenix. My husband and I attend theater regularly and are impressed with the quality. Our friends are diverse and educated. I have attended seminars at Arizona State and have learned. I have a degree from a prestigious university, and do not feel as if I am dumbing down.
The new symphony hall is wonderful. The opera satisfies.
There is a variety of food choices although not the seafood you would find in Bean Town. Frankly, I miss the Chicago deli’s, but through the years, have found favorite restaurants in the Valley.
You are hanging around with the wrong people. Join interest groups and make new friends. There are many educated people living in Phoenix.
I’m from Los Angeles moved to Phoenix 2 years ago, and it is a fun laid back city to be at, with beautiful sunny weather. Just to remind you LA is top city of restaurants in the U.S. with Chicago, you will find more restaurants than the little town of Boston, Boston is very small by the way, and actually boring, old, and cold.
Go back to Boston ! i don’t even think states like California, Arizona want historical, boring, old minded
people like you.
(just to remind you, Phoenix has all kinds of restaurants aswell)
Well, you certainly must not be one of the well-educated population that you referred to. "Seek and ye shall find" is a phrase you should familiarize yourself with. You obviously came on here to get attention (speaks well of your anatomy) and act like a pompous fool. So you go play your little games and go back to dirty old crowded Boston. You are not living in reality.
asu is the best place or schools not grade schools but colleges nau is a good one to depending on what you need
*hits you over the head with an Arizona Sahuaro cactus*
I bet you dont have those over there.
*kitty grins*
